The Visibles

Review Time! Last week, I finished The Visibles by Sara Shepard. I love her Pretty Little Liars series so I decided to give this one a go. I didn't realize until half way through that this wasn't meant for YA. This is her first Adult novel *smacks head*. So I was reading it and thinking why is it so depressing?

Anyway, it was kind of a novel that tells the charcters journey to finding herself. You know the ones where the character has no friends blah blah blah unsocial etc. Than she find the guy of her dreams and finds herself etc. Yeah, that kind of novel. I normally tend to stay away from these emotion breakdown charcter ones but I was halfway through this one so there was no point in NOT finishing it. I can't say I enjoyed reading it but I certainly finished and went, yer it was alright. Maybe it's because it's an adult novel dunno... but I didn't really see the point in it. Rating 2/5

( I got this one at the library and at first I thought All the Things we Didn't say and The Visibles were different books so I ended borrowing both than I had to return one coze it was the same book!)

Badass Bookie xx

  1. Thanks for the honest review! I usually try and stay away from the depressing ones too...I have enough problems of my own! LOL

  2. The Visables. I never heard of that book. Sounds great.

  3. I like the honest review! I don't like to be depressed either---it's why I gave up on Anita Shreve.
