Blog Hop & Follow Friday

Hey Guys! It's time for Friday Hop again, thank-you as always to Jen @ Crazy for Books and Parajunkee @ Parajunkee View for hosting them! Um, please leave a comment (and a link! it saves time!) so I can replay the favour! PS- I'm trying really hard to reach 375 so if you follow me I will return that favour too! So every follower I get this week, they will get an extra follower too! Make sure you leave a comment telling me so or I won't know!!!

This weeks questions is -
When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?

 My answer is that I never, ever and never will write a review for a book before I have read every single page. This is why, my lovely publishers and authors , your requested review may not have been posted yet. Please bare with me, I am trying to go go go but still ....

What is high fashion for books (ie best book cover ever)?
Ha! There are too too many good book covers out there ( and double the amount of bad bad bad ones) but some that stood out to me for this year so far are -

    I definitely read the whole book before I write a review. I mean ... how can you have an opinion of the book if you've not read it yet?

    Returning your Book Blog Hop :-) Love your color scheme- seems as if we have a love for 'grape' green!

    I couldn't agree more on book fashion- I love every cover you picked out. Wither is fabulously gorgeous... Clockwork Angels makes me want to be able to purchase myself a Will or Jem... and Halo is just hot!

    I don't formally 'hop' anymore, but I did just hop over to see what you were up to these days.

    I don't review a book until I've finished it, and I generally base my review on all of my scribbling, marginalia, and underlining that I do in the book that I have been reading. Typically, I jot important notions, concepts, or ideas that I find in the book onto one of the fly-leafs of the book. I then review all of this material as the basis for my review as I am crafting it. I also keep a hand-written journal in which I record my general thoughts about each of the books I've read, dates started and finished, etc. I am getting too old to remember it cold.     I'm already a follower, but I thought I'd drop in and say HI!

    Just hopping by on the book blog hop! I also write up my reviews after I read the whole book. It seems that books just have too much content to judge it at the beginning. I wish I could write reviews just after I've finished a book because it's all fresh in my mind, but it never seems to work that way.
