Little Vampire Women

Review Time!  After last weeks Supernatural Showdown I am soooo behind on my reviews so I'm probably going to just post many many reviews this week. Maybe. Anyway I finished Little Vampire Women last, last week. It was basically Little Women by Louisa May Alcott ( I loved that book) with vampires (which makes it written by Lynn Messina and Louisa May Alcott) or shall I say The March Sisters are vampires.

My two cents on the book? I presonally liked the originally better. They basically KILLED the story by adding vampires. It was well... extremely boringgggg. I felt the book just dragged on and on ( it took me like three weeks to finish it becuase I just kept putting it off) the characters were fine and all but the vampire part just seemed out of place. It didn't fit and it made the nice little Marches Sisters seem like real big weirdos. The plot was boring, I liked it better when Jo wanted to be an Author than be a Human Vampire Slayer slayer, Meg married a weirdo, Amy was just plain creepy and sweet Beth was just....sweet with fangs?
Definitey a huge disappointment, honestly I was expecting a better book but...maybe you will like it.
Rating- 1.5/5

  2. I have bought Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and I started to get the same feeling - being a bit weird and disjointed. I am resolved to read the original before attempting to read the supernatural tie-in. I wonder how much of thi new fad is to make a killing of a gimmick ie repackage royalty free books.
