Burned

Review Time! I finished Burned which is the seventh book of the House fo Night series a few days ago but I had some other 'stuff ' to post besides a review so this had to wait to today :P Anyway, seventh book in the series so a pretty long series ( the longest one I have read so far besides Harry Potter and Princess Diaries...I think). From all the stuff I have heard I can safely say that it's quite popular. However, not one of my favourite series (sadly, everyone go *shame!*). I was very disappointed with the sixth book which kind of went around it a BIG FAT CIRCLE then ended up in the same place ( aka nothing happened) However, I find that the seventh book was actually one of the better ones in the series. It had a plot that was good, the characters were still annoying ( Zoey) but they were bearable and they actually got somewhere with the book. However, * SPOILER ALERT* I don't get why Stevie Rae and Rapheim ( I can't spell him name sadly) just get together. It's annoying, everyone konws they like each other but they refuse to just be togther so fustrating. Um, the ending was pretty good but the start was boring. Overall, quite enjoyable, abit slow but still pretty good so Rating 3/5

BTW, which cover do you like better? I got the book with the second cover the yellow one.

The Pack

econd Review Today ! Okay, a few weeks ago I received an ARC copy of The Pack by LM Preston ( btw Thank-you for sending me the book and swag !!!!) Anyway, I received a copy of her upcoming book. I admit I normally don't really read the action packed novels but I made an exception this time because the book trailer was fantastic ( I have it in this post) and the first three chapter were really good too ! Now, i would have started reading this ages ago but I had exams so I wasn't able to D: So I started this book last night and finished it like 10 mintues ago but well I actually really liked. It was really different from anything I have read partly because I don't usually read action but partly becuase it's not alwasy you get a strong heroine. Shamira was really really AWESOME !!! Plus Valen and Shamira are just so cute together ! ( Yer, there's romance too :P) Anyway, it was really fast paced right to the end. Great Charcters, Good Plot, Sweet Ending. I guess the only thing I didn't like was the set in Mars thing ( I'm not a big fan of space travel, like to stay on earth) but seriously, I actually really enjoyed it ( suprise aye?) but really it was like Action and Romance all combined together plus a totally kick ass Heroine! Rating 3.75/ 5 ( Not quite a four because of Mars but still really good) So, well if you like the maximum ride kinda adventure thing THIS IS YOUR BOOK !!!!! This is the next Maximum Ride :P

Description - Shamira is considered an outcast by most, but little do they know that Shamira is on a mission. Kids on Mars are disappearing, but Shamira decides to use the criminals most unlikely weapons against them, the very kids of which they have captured. In order to succeed, she is forced to trust another, something she is afraid to do. However, Valens her connection to the underworld of her enemy, proves to be a useful ally. Time is slipping, and so is her control on the power that resides within her. Yet, in order to save her brother's life she is willing to risk it all.

Sucks to be Me

Another Review! hehe :3 Well, I haven't managed to get an author this week soooo I guess we have normal weekend this week ;P Well, I finished reading Sucks to be Me by Kimberly Pauley two days ago and it was a vampire novel ( title pun intended and all I guess). It was....okay. Like it was one of those 'Just another Book' books. It was kinda corny, really cheesy read. Um, charcters were alright, plot was corny, ending was corny too. Like basically it's about a girl with vmampire parents and she has to choose whether to be vampire or not. Then she like this guy blah blah blah. Another guy likes her blah blah blah. End with the prom. See what I mean? Corny( no offence) Rating 3/5

Blog Re-Design !

Okay Guys incase you are severly handi-capped when it comes to colour you should have all noticed that....ther has been a BLOG RECONSTRUCTION !!!!! I have to say, it's very sad to see the pink and green blog design go BUT I had toooo many sidebar thingies and not enough space sooo I had to change it to a new background ( The mint and green didnt come in the three coloumn design. To be honest I kinda liked the last design but oh well! ALSO, you can now find the Badass Bookie on TWITTER soooo please please follow me! I think the blog might undergo more construction over the next few weeks (maybe not) I don't know but yer new blog look! Sooooo yup have a great weekend guys!
