In My Mailbox #59 ( November Book Haul)

I never thought I was going to become one of those people who did a monthly book haul but somehow - accidentally - that's exactly what I've done for the past two months! In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @The Story Siren. Got a massive haul to show you guys today (19 books!) and I'm super excited for all of them!

Phew! That was a lot of typing! I can't even begin to describe how excited I am for the summer holidays so I can just sit down and read all these lovely books! I'm so excited for Tiger's Destiny and Scent of Magic! The cover of Dance of Shadows is just beautiful and the book arrived with some lovely nail polish! Stealing Parker was JUST AMAZING and Looking for Alaska is one that I look forward to reading!

I was lucky enough to be sent these beautiful hardcover editions of classics ( sorta) from The Folio Society. They are all cloth bound with lovely illustrations! The Folio Society offers a wide range of books that are just so beautiful! They're a little pricey but for the quality of these books, it's so worth it! Absolutely beautiful! Check them out!

Let me know what you got in your mailbox and which books you would like to see a review of!

  1. Oooh... I love the Aussie cover of Days of Blood & Starlight -- so different from the North American cover!

And I already tweeted to you, but I totally vote that you read The Handmaid's Tale ASAP. Because Atwood is awesome. And Canadian -- 'nuf said ;-)

  3. Stealing Parker looks great, I really need to read Catching Jordan! I've got Looking for Alaska on my shelf and I hope to read it soon, especially since I loved TFIOS. The cover of Dance of Shadows is beautiful, plus the premise is certainly intriguing. I kinda wish I had of requested... Oh well. Yay for cloth bound hardcovers with lovely illustrations! They look lovely.

Great book haul! So much awesome ^__^

  4. What the heck, how are you going to review those glorious clothbound hardcovers? I'm so jealous. I saw this site/publisher a while back and just thought WOW I could never afford these beauts. Lordy lordy, you are a genie. Please, when you do... whatever post it is you'll do for these things, PHOTOS! Or even a video!!!

Seeing how much you got makes me feel less guilty about my own book hauling ways. Also got some similar books for review. I think I'm still waiting on Burn Bright... and OMG I want to read Ashes!

Happy reading! I've got 2 weeks of placement at nursing home then I'm free for summer holidays too! Have to get so much reading done. I'm really behind on EVERYTHING. Happy reading!

  6. Oh freaking awesome haul!!! I adored Scent of Magic! Hope you enjoy that one too! And I am so envious of Hot Blooded! I can't even find a release date or any other info for that on Amazon and such! According to Goodreads it releases December 6, but yet no book website has info for it! So yes, very envious on that one!

I still need to start Colleen Houck's books too! I have the first 3 on my TBR pile. Perhaps I better start one soon anyway since I asked for the fourth one for Xmas!

    Happy Reading!
